CASE study #44

Welcome back for another week at CASE Study!
Seems you have all settled in very very well with our  brand spankin' new Muse, Jillian Foster from
If you haven't already stopped in to check out Jill's blog, it is a fabulous place to linger and get inspired.
Another awesome card ready to inspire you for another week

You can see all the details of inspirational card here
I was inspired by the colours, the splashed background and the layout

The colours in the flowers look so much better IRL, but unfortunately couldn't capture the true colour on camera!
For the background, I started with a piece of Xpress it blending card, started airbrushing the entire piece with BG13, then BG15 around the edge and then BG18 on the very edge.  To create the splashed effect like  in Jill's card, I poured blending solution into my hand then flicked it on the the airbrushed card.
All in all it was a pretty messy process but I am happy with the way it turned out.

The Recipe:
Stamps: PTI Delightful Dahlia, SU So Happy for You, Die namics Framed Greeting Set
Cardstock: Xpress it Blending Cardstock, Pumpkin Pie
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Pumpkin Pie, Versafine- Onyx Black
Copics: BG0000, BG10, BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18, Colourless Blender
Accessories:AnnaBelle's 3mm Pumpkin Sprinkles, Die namics Framed Greeting Die, Magnolia Doohickeys Leaves, Caribbean Baker's twine, Airbrush and Compressor, Blending solution
If you want to play along you can check out all the details on the CASE study site, but in a nutshell......
it is YOUR way!

This is fantastic, girl! I love how you went creative with the background, and was able to create 'water' splatter with blending solution - lovin' the effect! Oh, and you coloured the flowers beautifully!
