La La Land CHA Winter New Releases

Hello All!

The day has finally arrived to share the brand spankin' new CHA Winter Release Stamps- Woohoo!

Let me just say that you definitely won't be disappointed in the 14 new stamps and sets.

If you are lucky enough to be heading to CHA (envy envy envy!) you can meet Irina and the team at the La La Land booth- 1780, and also see the newies there.

The new stamps are available for pre-order at the store now, shipping will commence on the 10th of February.

My first card uses the super cutie Luka with Flowers, the sentiment comes from the Stump Set, the turtle, birdie and clouds come from the Brick Wall set.

Anyhoo, it's Friday yet again and this means it is time for another of AnnaBelle's fabulous challenges!

My week has been less than wonderful with our internet connection playing funny buggers, it just will not connect and open blog pages- Grrrrrrrr

Not being able to get into my blog or any others with out pressing the refresh button continuously is not much fun. consequently I have not been able to get around to your blogs and leave comments! :(

I wish I was alot more technical and could work out what is going on with it! how can the home wifi connection work on my husbands work lap top (which I have now commandeered for the night!) and not on the ipad, iphone, laptop or desktop??????

I think it may just be a conspiracy thing with my hubby and all the time I spend on the net- lol!!!!

Anyhoo, enough of my wining, I have vented enough now, on to the fun stuff- crafting!

Before we get into the creative goodness today, I wanted to share with you some exciting news.... Darcy is now part of the LLLC4K design team!!!! She started on the 1st of January and is so excited to be a part of a great team of talented girls!
If you are not familiar with the LLLC4K blog, it has a fortnightly challenge for children under 16years, each challenge has a prize and for playing along the children will be eligible to earn free La La Land stamps!
A fabulous concept by kids for kids, so if you have little ones who love to colour and create with La La Land stamps check out the blog here

Hope you have checked out all the brand new goodies at the La La Land store, there are some gorgeous Digi Scenes, which are perfect for this inspiration Challenge!!!

I have not used them 'cause I struggle to colour within the lines and always need to cut out the images to hide by lack of colouring control-lol!!!

Clean and Simple Day 1

Hello, a quick post for you to share a Clean and Simple Baby card!

I have been taking part in the Clean and Simple on line class with lots of other crafters out there

I must admit that I struggle with just leaving things along and like to keep adding goodies, but that really does defeat the purpose of a CAS card-lol!!

I have taken the sketch from Day 1, trying hard to just leave it all white except for the little images but just had to add in the gingham and the border, hope it is still considered CAS!!

DD, Rylee has said that I really need to add more on the top of the inner panel, but of course she is used to my usual style, I guess she needs some training too!!!

Hidey Ho fellow crafters, I hope your new year celebrations were fabulous and those new years resolutions are still being embraced- mine certainly are!!

Anyhoo, it's Friday yet again and this means it is time for another of AnnaBelle's fabulous challenges!

Saying it in....Black White and Silver

Before we get started with the creative stuff I wanted to share with you some Happy Happy news from AnnaBelle's.... we now have some new teamies- WOOHOO!! Andrea sure know how to select talent, our newies are Therese from Lost in Paper and Jess from Playing with Paper, make sure you stop in and say Hi!!

Another new comer to the AnnaBelle's team is our Guest Belle for January, Cath Dean from My Creative Oasis, another wonderful addition to the team!!

Along with our challenge for this week the team is introducing some new sets and have some sneaky peaks of some other goodies that may be coming!

For my card I have used the new Garden Silhouettes set and the BBD7 (ooh I looooooove gingham!)

As you will see the sets are very versatile, the Garden Silhouettes has a massive 28 stamps included, and will have your every garden and foliage need covered! All the sets will be revealled in full on Saturday the 14th of January, but travel around the teams blogs to give you a insight before then!!

I must say that I did struggle with adding in the Silver part of the challenge but did manage to squeeze it in with some silver sprinkles- saved by the sprinkle yet again!!!

Christmas 2011

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas, with Santa bringing lots of joy and awesome crafty goodies to your stockings!!

I have some photos to share with you from our Christmas day.

We had a magical day, got to spend time some time at home with just the 4 of us before heading down to the in-laws (2hours drive away) for a lunch at the local club- no preparations and no cleaning up, now that is Christmas!!!!

In the early afternoon we headed to my Mother in laws brother's house to meet up with another group of family. what a great day to catch up with loved ones we had not seen for a while!

A 3D chrissy creation!

Hidey hoe to you all, hope all your Christmas preparations are well under way!

I have another little chrissy surprise to share, this time a 3D star/snowflake!

It can be used as a decoration for the tree or even to decorate a present or gift bag- mine will be adorning Hubby's present!

Sorry for the photography, this was a tricky one to photograph!

The completed Star is about 25cm across, a fabulous decoration.

I have used Helmar 450 quick dry adhesive to hold it all together, super quick drying and won't wrinkle the papers and holds brilliantly!

Scrapbook boutique December Challenge

Good Morning, hope you are gearing up for a fabulous Saturday, as we are at Scrapbook boutique!

Today is the beginning of another Inspiration Challenge and another blog hop!

take inspiration from the picture, making a card or project using

'Red, Pink, Blue and White'

If you are following along with the blog hop you would have arrived from Narelle's blog- I bet you are inspired, if you get lost, you can always head to the SB blog and start from there!

The prize is the Prima North Country Stamps set

You just need to leave a comment on each of the DT gals blogs and a final one on SB Blog, the random winner will be drawn from there!

Hero Arts Decorative Ornament

Back with another creation made for Scrapbook Boutique, with Christmas approaching with rapid speed I am stepping up my Christmas card production!!

DD Rylee, suggested I use the ornament stamp but make them 3D instead of flat like this one, nothing like a little constructive feedback from an 8 year old!

Seems like yonks since I have played along with the gals at CASE study, but loved the gorgeous inspiration for this week- CASE study #65
