Scrapbook Boutique July Challenge



Good Morning, hope you are gearing up for a fabulous day, as we are at 

Today is the beginning of another Inspiration Challenge and blog hop

Making a card or project using  inspiration from the picture and make it 

{One for the Boys}

If you are following along with the blog hop you would have arrived from Narelle's blog- I bet you are inspired, if you get lost, you can always head to the SB blog and start from there!

The Blog Hop  prize is the Penny Black- Big Wish


You just need to leave a comment on each of the DT gals blogs  and a final one on SB Blog,  the  random winner will be drawn from there!
The hop will be open for 1 week, closing midday Tuesday the 17th of July, the winner will be announced on the SB blog on Wednesday the 18th of June.

It was fun to make a boys card for a change, it was a great feeling to do something a little different, and who doesn't love a hedgie!!

ABSC035 Sketch Challenge- Lil' Monster's Balloon

Just look at this beauty that Andrea has put together for this months Sketch Challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps!

 I made this for my nephew Nate, it is not his birthday until March but like to be organised- when possible!!

I have used Copic blending solution and a cloth nappy to give him a mottled effect.

birthday quickie

My second post for the day, woo hoo!!!
I made this one for my Boss who turned 40 this week, I loved the one I made for my brother, so why waste time creating another design (made a few minor adjustments)- lol!!

Happy Birthday Superstar Brother! SSS87

I was looking for a sketch to use for my brother's birthday card and found this one from The Sweet Stop on Miss Chupa's blog, perfect!!!  After a busy few days, I needed some help and needed something really quick!

It is what it is!!

Back with another card for Scrapbook Boutique
I have used Copic blending solution on an old face washer and dabbed it on the dragon body to give the effect of scales, unfortunately it didn’t give a spectacular effect but does look a little mottled!

Dimensional magic is used on the eyes and the bow on the present- which has been cut out and raised.

Simply Saturday - SS250910

I am back with a card I made for DH's birthday yesterday.  I have made it using watercolour pencils for the background for Simply Saturday - SS250910 and used the sketch from Mojo Monday 157.  I had so much fun making this background,scribbling with a pencil over a stencil,  reminiscent of kindergarten times, a long long time ago-lol!!!!!!

Curtain Call Colour Challenge: Act #40

Oh my another week has just flashed by!!  I can't believe that it is time for another CCCC, is it just me or is time flying by as we get older??  When I was little, weeks seemed to take forevvvvvvvvvver to roll past,  but as an adult I seem to blink and the week is gone!!   Are we just so busy these days to notice the time???
Anyhoo, without further ado!  Act #40 brings Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White and Basic Black, another fresh and fun combo from Stacey!  When I originally looked at the colours and the picture I was thinking of a beach theme, but alas my initial thoughts and the final creation look totally different!!
