La La La, la la la la...........A stitch in time!

Hello fellow crafty people, back again with another post and some EXCITING news to share!!

I am now a La-La Land girl-WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!

I have been waiting to share it with the world, you cannot believe how amazed, thankful, delighted, humbled and deliriously happy I am!

This a perfect little home for me, colouring the gorgeous La-La Land stamps is something I love to do.  I was first introduced to them back in May this year by the super awesome Mandi-Lee at our Copic Project course, needless to say the rest is history-lol!

Thank you to Irina and the talented team who have made me feel so welcome and put my fears at ease.

Anyhoo, let's get onto the Inspiration for this week

Our inspiration for this week is to use stitching- real or faux, or if you are really clever- both!!

I don't usually stitch but have squeezed some in, a criss cross stitch around the bottom of Fancy Marci's dress, a straight stitch in the ribbon and by fluke the DS paper is a stitched pattern!

I have combine this weeks La La Land challenge with the colours from PDCC96 and the layout from Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #26



The flower is made by running a thread through some white seam binding and gathered.

This card makes me long for the Spring/Summer weather that is just around the corner, even though it is still technically Winter down here, we are currently having some sunny winter days, love love love the warmth!!

La-La Land For Kids- challenge

DD Rylee (8), has been busy making this super cute bookmark for her Dad, who is turning the BIG 40 next month!

I made this card for my little brother, who would have turned the BIG 40 today . 

Although he is not here to share it with us, we will be celebrating on his behalf with a family dinner tomorrow night, I know that he will be with us in spirit, as he is each and every day!
