Not very often do you see a Layout on my blog, thought I would give it a whirl!
Was inspired after getting some photos printed for Darcy.  This pic is one of my favourites from San Francisco with my fabulous friend Debbie, when walking across the Golden Gate Bridge.
We were blessed with beautiful sunny weather that day, taking some fabulous pics from the bridge and across the Bay on the way back by ferry.

The little hearts came from the Heart doily border when cut, seemed a shame to discard them!!

I love using this bag template, one 12" x 12" sheet, a few folds, a couple of cuts and voila you have an amazing little bag!!

I have teamed it up with the new Paper Doll Marci (hearts), a perfect Marci to use if you don't want to do much colouring!!

Using the new and improved Birthday Cake Marci for my twine project.
was a little stumped when it came to using the twine in my project, thankfully I saw this idea in a craft supply catty at work yesterday- phew, otherwise there would be no project to share!!

Playing with Bumble Bee Marci from the most recent release,  non traditional colours for this little bumble bee which fitted better with all my scraps!

what a pleasure it was to use up all those dusty old scraps, not many of the die cuts in this project were new most were in my off cuts- sad but true!

this is so not my style, but wanted to give it a go, I really admire other people's mixed media creations!
Using a 6" x 6" canvas, adding some Gesso, then tissue paper with Mod Podge, loads of dies and heaps more Mod Podge.
The initial colouring was done using Copic markers and Air brush, the rest of the colouring was using Distress inks and distress inkers.
spritzing with colourless blending solution, some Huey's white mist and finally adding a sprinkle or 2 of frantage Shabby White embossing enamel!
making a HUGE mess in the craft room but it was so much fun!!!!
