A little La La

I have another creation for you made with some newies from Scrapbook Boutique. I

This card is made using the Diamond fold tutorial found here, I saw a beautiful card made using this technique at the La La Land Blog.

I have also finally dragged out the Copic Opaque white that has been staring at me from the shelf!  now that I have started using it (very easy to use! ), I think it may be a little difficult to put down-lol!

I have used the new Cheery Lyn Designs French Pastry Doily die, this has got to be another favourite!!  Evelyn has all 7 dies in the store (definately something for everyone's style), some are out of stock but be sure to click on the envelope to be notified of the arrival of new stock.

Out of the Dark and into the light........... baby steps!

I wanted to share this special card that I was making when I found out that my father had passed away, in amongst all the things that were going on I knew I just HAD to finish it, this one is for him.

He passed away suddenly aged 68, even though we knew it would happen one day, you can never prepare.

The past couple of weeks have been especially difficult, hence the lack of posting, there was nothing in the tank left for creating, unfortunately life must go on and it will get easier each day, baby steps!
