Hello and welcome back for another week of creativity at CASE study! This week brings us another stunning beauty from Barbara Anders at Paper Pursuits!!!
Thank you to all of you who CASE Barbara's 1st inspiration card, what a wonderful display of creativity! Congratulations to all the winners!
If you are not familiar with Barbara's work I would strongly recommend a visit to her blog- just amazing!! This is the inspiration card for this weeks CASE, pretty cool huh?? If you would like to check out the direct link, click here
I was inspired this week by the layout (without the back panels) and also the big beautiful striped bow! I found this Eiffel tower at the recent Melbourne Paperific show, of course it didn't come in black but I pulled out my trusty air brush and compressor and hey presto- Black!!! Oh so easy!
I also used another new toy, recently purchased- Oh I am soooooo naughty! I used the letterpress with black ink to create the backgound paper, I fell in love with the paper and just kept making it using different papers, so clean and crisp (the image not the process!!)
The Recipe: (for both cards)
Cardstock: Stamper Select White (PTI), Basic Black and Ridinghood Red
Stamps:Background Basics -Text style (PTI),
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Striped ribbon (SU), airbrush and compressor, Copic 100 , Cuttlebug embossing folder Polka dots, rhinestones and Letterpress- using christmas plate
If you haven't played with us before, here is a rundown of what you can do to join in the fun.
Take what works best for you from the stunning creation (above): the layout, the colours, techniques, or whatever else, and use it on your sample. You may also like to CASE the whole look. In other words, your job is to show us, how Barbara's inspires YOU.
There is no right or wrong it is just YOUR way!!
