beautiful bunny!!

With Darcy and Rylee finishing school for the term last week and Easter looming it was time to make some easter treats- criteria- EASY and QUICK!  I needed 7 baskets for the teachers at school, swimming teacher, scrapbooking teachers and music teachers (boy I am glad they do all of their activities together or the number would be double!).  Last year the very talented Ange over at Creative inspirations made a bunny box that I loved, this is my cased version, lots of fun for the kids to make too!  This one is the 1st I made, the subsequent ones had bunches of flowers and flowers on the side where the scallop circles are, I think I even used rhinestone (clear) brads on one too.  Hope you can get a chance to make your own version!

The Recipe:
Cardstock:curious metallics white, SU pretty in pink, hot pink bazzill and green
Ink: Pretty in pink
Accessories: SU small and large oval punch, scallop circle punch, scallop boarder punch, small circle punch, spellbinders nestabilities circles, retro flower punch (EK success), kaiser rhinestone (clear and black), pale pink stitched ribbon, fine black marker, sponge dauber.

Curtain Call colour challenge #23

Hello All, another stunning Curtain Call Colour Challenge from Stacey's Stamping Stage!
This weeks colours are Kraft, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink and basic black.
I was inspired by the wall paper in the background of the picture, giving me the opportunity to use my beloved PTI demask designs set!  The photo just screamed elegant, hence a long and tall card was created!!   The 'girly' bow was inspired by a beautiful card of Iwona's ,just loved her bow when I saw it, really set off her card!
If you would like to play along with this weeks colour challenge head over to Stacey's Stamping Stage here....

As always if you are looking for a little inspiration check out the other members of the design team, always great for an ooh and an ahhh!!

Time for another Curtain Call -CCCC #22

Welcome back for another addition of Curtain Call,  #22, this weeks colours are Real Red, Pink Passion, Yoyo yellow, Whisper White and Basic black.  What a wonderful set of colours to work with, so happy and just screams girly- not to mention the handbag in the sketch- I want one!!!  My creation for the Curtain Call is a handbag too, I used to make these years ago and thought it was time to revisit my old template, with some modifications of course- how boring to do the same!!

Remember to check out all the other design crew's and Stacey's creations, always a great place to look for some inspiration!

Curtain Call Colour Challenge: Act 21

It is that time again, time for yet another of Stacey's Curtain calls!  Again this week the colours are a fantastic mix.  I had my card all done and then decided to add one final touch- doh!  When finished I decided I really wasn't happy with the result- back to the drawing board!  I   But I was able to salvage some (after I completed the 2nd card) and am now happy with the result- card #1
For my 2nd card I used the colours from Act 21 with the Simply Saturday layout from Andrea's Stamping Moments from last week.
Remember to stop by all Curtain Call Crew Design Team members blogs to check out their creations, well worth spending sometime to have a look at at their amazing workfor some inspiration!
