Evelyn has just stocked the new Echo Park Dots and Stripes paper packs, I just love these papers, they add alot of interest to a project without being over bearing. I initially thought this pack was for boys, but have decided that it works really well for girls too.
Both Angela and I will be working with this paper (also the Dots and stripes Candy Shoppe) for the next few weeks, keep popping into the blogs to see what we whip up!!
Please check the info below as some of the details on how to play our challenges have changed!
About Our challenges
- We post our challenges every Friday at 12:00pm AEST (AEDT during Daylight Savings). - Each challenge runs for a week, and will close on the Thursday 5.00pm so that we can announce and showcase our weekly winners prior to the next challenge. - Each weeks winner will receive our special blinkie to display on their blog and a special little something. Our last challenge for the month will be a sketch challenge which will attract our main prize of a $15.00 gift voucher for that weeks winner.
How To Play Along : - Copy and save our challenge banner and include it and a link back to the ABS blog in your post. - Please link directly to your entry not just to your blog. - Please don't link to postings made prior to the date of our current challenge. All projects submitted must be new. - A maximum of 7 challenges may be combined including this one. - You may enter any challenge several times as long as each submission is with a new creation. - We would love you to use AnnaBelle Stamps and embellishments, but you can play along without using them, it’s all about sharing ideas ☺

I have used the the Clean and Simple FTL 144 sketch for this week's challenge
For the background, I cut 5mm strips of Mask-it, placed them diagonally on the Tempting Turquoise cardstock (already scalloped), then stamped the BBD5 straight across and then diagonally also.

Another awesome card ready to inspire you for another week
You can see all the details of inspirational card here
I was inspired by the colours, the splashed background and the layout
The colours in the flowers look so much better IRL, but unfortunately couldn't capture the true colour on camera!
For the background, I started with a piece of Xpress it blending card, started airbrushing the entire piece with BG13, then BG15 around the edge and then BG18 on the very edge. To create the splashed effect like in Jill's card, I poured blending solution into my hand then flicked it on the the airbrushed card.
All in all it was a pretty messy process but I am happy with the way it turned out.
