Inspiration Friday - Holidays are coming- Arghhhhhhhh!!!

Hello all, back again with another post for  La-La Land Inspiration Friday.

Our inspiration for this week is

 'Holidays are coming'

My DD Rylee is keeping a running countdown until Christmas is upon us, believe me it is a scary reality, denial is looking like a good option at the moment!!

This card is one we made at the recent La-La Land Retreat in Pacifica CA, a fun one with lots of layers, die cuts, a shaker and an easel card.!  We will also be creating a version of this card at Scraphaven on the 6th of December.
The shaker was made by layering 9 circle rings cut with the largest and 2nd largest stitched nested circles together and a layer of acetate.

Scraphaven Copic's workshops

Hello All, hope your weekend has been fabulous and you are managing to enjoy the gorgeous sunshine despite the cold that comes with it!

Just dropping in to let you give you an update on the Copics workshops coming up this week at Scraphaven

Friday 29th of June
  Beginners #2 workshop


Starting at 7pm until approx 9.30pm

 Contact Di to reserve you place, her number is at the bottom of the post!

We will be continuing to build on the Copic skills learned in the 1st workshop

Adding to our skills with.......
Hair colouring
Making your own background
Perfectly coordinating your cardstock with your copics
Creating grass

Here are some little sneak peeks for you to enjoy.....

Please bring along your:

• Paper trimmer
• fussy cutting scissors
• ruler
• scalpel or blade 
• double sided tape
• Foam tape
• Copic Markers - if you have some, (please make sure they are labelled), if not they will be supplied
• As always your Passion for colouring!

As always the colours are changeable, you can colour with any combination you wish!

By popular request, Little Miss Marci on Roller skates

Little Monster is back as well, but we will be using the matching Die, no more cutting!!!!!

If you are wanting a little more colouring you can replace the Monster image above with this one.  Unfortunately this one doesnt come with a matching die, so make sure you bring along your fussy cutting scissors-lol!

 Suggested colours for you to use on these projects, but as always the colour choice and selection will be yours!

Scraphaven Copics Workshop- sneak peeks

Hello All, hope your week has started off with a bang!
Our next Copics workshop  at Scraphaven is on Saturday the 5th of May

 we will be running 2 copics workshops: 

9.30am -12.00pm

 12.30pm - 3.00pm


Both classes will be completing the same project, each class will be limited to 10 participants

For this workshop we will be working with another way to use Copic markers as we haven't before, colouring on Kraft cardstock
The 1st is using an AnnaBelle's stamps image, bright and bold colours!

The second is a La La Land Stamps, Luka!
If you are not into riding on the wild side with this Luka, I will have an alternative image for you colour.
We will also be making and colouring our own pavement with this image too!

If you have a Copic Multi Liner please bring it along (labelled of course!), if not there will be some on hand
