Say it with............................

Hello all, hope your week has been a fabulously warm one, it is very cold and wet here at the moment, can't wait for Summer to roll in!
This week at AnnaBelle's we are Saying it with..... Sponging and Masking, we would love you to play along with us too!

Who doesn't LOVE a Sale????
Everything is discounted! Some sets will be retired and some items will have new packaging! It's not Spring cleaning, just a little tidy up ready for a fresh start in July!  Check it out at AnnaBelle's Stamps

As much as I am not usually enthusiastic about sponging (why sponge when you can air brush-lol!) I really did enjoy the challenge and the end result of sponging!
I sponged the daisies with Daffodil delight then grabbed the sponge dauber to accent the centre of each daisy with Tangerine Tango.  Of course I needed some copics added to the daisy, coloured the dots in the centres are coloured with the YR07
The striped paper is made with the chisel end of the copic markers and a ruler

The Recipe:
Stamps: AnnaBelle's Daisy Delights, Acacia
CardstockXpress it blending cardstock, Basic Black
Ink:Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango,Memento Tuxedo Black
 Copics: YR04, YR07, Y17

With Sympathy

A friend asked me to make a sympathy card for her, part of me doesn't really like make these ones but the other part (which spurs me into action) knows that a wonderful card can make a huge difference to someone who is grieving. I kept this one pretty simple.
I have used this card from Heather Nichols as my inspiration.  Heather used the brayer for the background around the tree, can you guess what I used instead?????? Yup...... the air compressor, you always knew that it would be back *wink wink* !!

I stamped the leaves of the tree with olive and then rolled the artichoke around the edges.

The recipe:
Cardstock: Confetti Cream, Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla (SU)
Ink: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Always artichoke, Tea Dye inks (PTI)
Stamps: Though the trees & Background Basics- Text style (PTI)
Copics- Oops cant remember the #'s, there was a blue, brown and a green
Accessories: Kraft Taffeta Ribbon (SU), Airbrush system and compressor

Hope to see you back here for another addition of CASE study challenge, Mariana's card is stunning!!

SS130210 and Curtain Call: Act 17

Two in one!! Welcome to the Stacey's Curtain Call Colour Challenge: Act 17 and Andrea's Stampin Moments SS130210. When I first saw the colours of the CCCC, I was a little worried, I loved all the colours but was unsure about adding in the going gray. But it all came together quite well and I am very happy with the outcome. They certainly aren't colours that I would normally put together, but that is the great advantage of playing along with the colour challenges and the layout challenges alike- taking you beyond what you would normally do. Why not give it a go and play along with one or both the challenges too!

The recipe:

Stamps: PTI Background Basics:petal power, Through the trees

Ink: SU Chocolate chip, going gray, so saffron and more mustard

Cardstock: SU Chocolate chip, So Saffron, More Mustard, Very Vanilla and Going Gray

Accessories: SU 1 1/4"& 1 3/8"circle punches, SU So Saffron grosgrain ribbon, Kaiser dark brown pearls

Thanks for Stopping by

Happy Crafting
