Simply Saturday - SS250910

I am back with a card I made for DH's birthday yesterday.  I have made it using watercolour pencils for the background for Simply Saturday - SS250910 and used the sketch from Mojo Monday 157.  I had so much fun making this background,scribbling with a pencil over a stencil,  reminiscent of kindergarten times, a long long time ago-lol!!!!!!

 The Recipe:

Cardstock: Xpress-it blending cardstock, Ridinghood red, More mustard

Checked paper (from the stash)

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Ridinghood red

Stamps: Enjoy the ride (PTI), On your birthday (SU)

Mojo Monday 133

Again hello!!
2 posts in 1 day, not sure what is wrong/right with me but been finding my mojo again- I think??  This one is for the Mojo Monday #133 challenge, if you would like to play along too, just click on the link!  I don't use my oval nesties nearly enough, so that was a great excuse to pull them out for this challenge!  And another good excuse to get crafting, Rylee has a birthday party on this weekend!! I did find this challenge just that, the colours just would not go together, last night I left it on the craft table and came back to it this morning.  after a good nights sleep, I took the yellow away and replaced it with the pink and it came together in the end! :)

The Recipe:

Cardstock: Regal rose, whisper white, pretty in pink

Ink: Stazon black, pretty in pink

Markers (SU): yoyo yellow, regal rose, pretty in pink, lavender lace

Mojo Monday 129

Just a quickie for tonight, will add some more details down the track.  Rylee (DD6) has been invited to 2 birthday parties this saturday, this is the card for the little boy, will post the little girls one when it is made.

Mojo Monday 123

Giving Mojo Monday a go this week was a little challenging, I am not used to making circular card, but overall I am happy with my creation. Hope you enjoy!

The Recipe: (all SU unless stated)

Cardstock: Pink pirouette, ridinghood red, whisper white

Ink: pink pirouette and ridinghood red

Stamps: Flight of the butterfly

Accessories: butterfly punch, EK success retro flower punch, ridinghood red taffeta ribbon, Kaiser pink rhinetones, sizzix scallop circle, spellbinders nestabilities circles, mini beads and wire, cuttlebug kars daisy pattern cuttlebug folder.

Curtain Call colour challenge: act 13 & Mojo Monday

I am back......... finally! Christmas and 40th birthday celebrations are now complete! with the children away with Nana and Pop, I have managed to sit down today and complete a double whammy- Stacey's Curtain call colour challenge act 13 and Mojo Monday week 122. It was a great excercise to free up and get back into the swing of things again, I can now feel my mojo returning!!

paper: can remember which one, but it is stampin up pumpkin pie with a small white dot!

Mojo Monday- Week 116

One of my neices is turning 18 and I was in need of inspiration (christmas preparations has really taken all my inspiration!). Mojo Monday always has such wonderful sketch challenges, killing 2 birds with one stone at this time of year is a real life saver!

Mojo Monday week 96

This Mojo monday sketch really grabbed me, it was simple and included a circle what more could a girl ask for!! While cruising through Stacey's stamping Stage, I spotted this Jewellery Colour inspiration #43 (an old one) that I just had to try. These are colours that I never in my wildest dreams have put together, but now I am converted- love 'em!!
So once again this week I have combined 2 challenges- even though the jewellery challenge is not current, it still counts- lol!!
