Curtain Call #62 meets PPA74

I have a few birthdays coming up this month and I was looking for inspiration- Mojo is a little low after the christmas break!!  I headed across to Iwona's blog (a bit stalkerish I know!!), which is always a good place to check out a multitude of challenges- just like one stop shopping really-lol!  So I have married up the layout from  PPA74 and an old favourite Stacey's Curtain call Challenge!  What yummy colours Stacey has put together in Curtain Call #62!
I have missed the deadline for the PPA74 none the less still a fun sketch to use!

I really should have cropped this one, but with the sun shining and the flowers in bloom, it seemed a real shame!!

The Recipe:

Paper: Stampin up DS papers, chocolate chip and Bashful blue, Blossoms and Butterflies stack
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Stamps:Who's that Birthday Girl (MFT)

Last Christmas Card Addition for 2010!

Merry Christmas fellow bloggers!
It is time to share my last addition of Christmas Cards for this year!  I think my total ended up at about 40.
As I say each and every year, I will make an early start for 2011!  I don't feel that I am alone when I say this-lol!
Anyhoo, it is Christmas Eve here and we are 1/3 of the way into our 6 hour drive to my sister's house in Mildura, north west Victoria (please excuse any typo's, Ash keeps hitting bumps in the road!). We very rarely have a Christmas Day together so it will be a special and busy Christmas with 28 mouths to feed- thankfully my sister is a Chef!!

I hope that you and your family have a magical christmas and there are many special memories shared and created

For my last 2 christmas cards I wanted to create something CAS (which is my goal for 2011- lots of CAS). I am really happy with the way they turned out.

The Recipe:
Cardstock: Real Red, Stamper select white, Xpress it blending cardstock
Paper: Bitty Box Basics (PTI)
Accessories: Copics, Ruby liquid pearls, Double ended Banners (PTI), Matstack 3, Dimensional Magic, nesties circles, ribbon

Hope Santa surprises you with lots of crafty goodies!!

An early Christmas!

Good Morning, it is early morning here, I have just come back from a walk, the girls are still asleep- perfect time to quickly post !!
Last Saturday we had Christmas with Ash's family, we had all the trimmings like 'real' Christmas, presents an all!! (the girls were beside themselves with excitment).  It was last minute planning, but I think we pulled it all together

The Table all dressed in black, white & silver, I wasn't sure about these colours for Christmas, but I am delighted with the result

Can you see their excitement?
Ash and the girls, infront of the Christmas tree decorated by our girls and others from down the road!

Food, glorious food
Salt n pepper calamari, Turkey, Roast pork, vegies, plum pudding with cream, icecream and custard- Mmmm!

About to open their main present from us- the excitement is building!!

Nintendo Wii, I wish I had this moment on Video, the camera just can't capture the excitement

A nice family shot, been putting them in my christmas cards

And a funny one, copies are being sent with Christmas cards too!
Anyhoo, I had better go and jump into the shower and get ready for the day!
Hope you have enjoyed our early Christmas
