case study 16

 Welcome back to CASE study #16!
This week we bid farewell to our November muse, Heather Pulvirenti from Witty Title Here, but not without a final inspiration card.  It has certainly been a pleasure having Heather as part of our team for the month, she has provided lots of inspiration to me and I can see in your entries you too!!!

I made this card for my MILwho lost her brother this week in a tragic workplace accident, I am hoping that it will put a smile back on her face.


The Recipe:
Cardstock: Xpress it blending cardstock, PTI stamper select white (PTI), Pure Poppy , Basic Black, Crumb Cake
Stamps: Poppies and greeting (Sweet n Sassy), Through the trees, Background Basics:Tin Types  (PTI)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo black,
Copics:R20, R22, R27, R29, C1, G21, G24, G28
Accessories:Multi liner, Nesties circles and Blossoms ,  White satin  ribbon,

A Hedgie christmas projects 3 & 4

Welcome back for another Hedgie addition, the final projects.
You can also see it at the Scrapbook Boutique blog



The tag is made with green 6.5 x 10.5cm, white 11cm x 7cm with a piece of red cut with the labels 4 die attached to the top. Stamp image on Copic Blending cardstock & colour with copics. Add Flock & glitter to the hat. Cut out image with Spellbinder Circles Nesties, mat with a red cardstock circle. Attach to tag.  Bakers twine is then threaded through the button to secure the ribbon in place.

I have cut the labels four in half and stretched it out across the page, covering the gap with the stamped image.

Hedgies Christmas Collection continued....

Welcome back for another Hedgie addition, this time a gift card holder with a belly band.
You can also see it at the Scrapbook Boutique blog

The holder was made with green 11cm x 16cm, scored at 4cm & 11cm , then  embossed. The greeting was stamped onto white card stock , punched out with a circle punch and then trimmed down as shown.  The wrap around piece was made from white cardstock 4cm x 18cm, DS paper 33mm x 18cm, wrapped around and secured with strong tape

A hedgies christmas collection

I have added dimensional magic to the bells and the outer edge of the button

I have used the layout for my inspiration and have used some of my favourites, my compressor and Hawaiian shores!!  This one takes my Christmas card total so far to 23, slowly but surely making it to the magic number!!

It is what it is!!

Back with another card for Scrapbook Boutique
I have used Copic blending solution on an old face washer and dabbed it on the dragon body to give the effect of scales, unfortunately it didn’t give a spectacular effect but does look a little mottled!

Dimensional magic is used on the eyes and the bow on the present- which has been cut out and raised.

Bling Sketch Challenge

Hello all, I have a quick post for you (I have Darcy (9) in the kitchen cooking pancakes!)
I saw this fabulous sketch challenge and knew that I had to participate, adding to my christmas card stash along the way!
but of course I forgot to add the sentiment- hope the bling covers up the fact- lol!



I have used the die namics snowflake dies for this one, they are fabulous to use, I love the shape!
