Inspiration Friday- Snowflakes

Hello all, back again with another post for  La-La Land Inspiration Friday.

Our inspiration for this week is

 'Snowflakes'

We have had quite week of warm weather here in Melbourne, was SO not thinking about snowflakes-lol!  I have used a star box kit created by Irina for the recent La-La land Palooza retreat and added quite a few snowflakes around the edges.  Still not able to do a lot of die cutting due to a shoulder injury it was time to recycle, so this bauble is looking a little bald!

Inspiration Friday - Holidays are coming- Arghhhhhhhh!!!

Hello all, back again with another post for  La-La Land Inspiration Friday.

Our inspiration for this week is

 'Holidays are coming'

My DD Rylee is keeping a running countdown until Christmas is upon us, believe me it is a scary reality, denial is looking like a good option at the moment!!

This card is one we made at the recent La-La Land Retreat in Pacifica CA, a fun one with lots of layers, die cuts, a shaker and an easel card.!  We will also be creating a version of this card at Scraphaven on the 6th of December.
The shaker was made by layering 9 circle rings cut with the largest and 2nd largest stitched nested circles together and a layer of acetate.

What a difficult challenge this was, how can you pick a favourite product???  It is like being asked to choose a favourite child!
Anyway.......decision made, I love butterflies and catching butterflies Marci was perfect for the task!

So for today's hidden extra, my love of circles continues, making this Telescoping Circle card!
Perfect for the inspiration this week, 3 layers fold up to one pretty front.  I did however place a round card on the bask for somewhere to write a message.

Inspiration Friday- Show your Style

Our inspiration for this week is

'Show your Style"

What is my style??  I had never really considered the question, so I set about finding what I liked to play with!!  Of course dots were going to feature, teal blue, white and lots of die cuts also made the cut!

Making a shaker centre from 10 or so circle rings, some acetate and a good sprinkling of Stampendous shaved ice!

I don't have a huge array of Washi Tape to select from (surprisingly!), so grey it is!
Looking back at this card, I think have swapped the black for a yellow or something brighter, still learning!

Covering some white card with layers of washi tape, then cutting them out with the Stitched Nested Circle dies.
2 strips of washi tape across another then die cutting the fancy butterfly.
